A dark, petite figure shifted in the darkness, moving, footsteps landing on the ashy, burnt ground in muffled thumps. Their dark, blank, chocolate brown eyes scanned the area around them. Usually, most would stay away from this windy, broken building, that had been burnt down many, many years ago. But no, this person resided in them now. Memories to precious to leave behind were here.. Ones that were unknown to the person, who desperately wished she had them, as comfort as she roamed the ghostly, burnt halls. It had no roof, the roof burnt and now the ashes beneath the lonely figure.
With a groan, the figure slumped against the wall. The hole in their chest gaping, wide. Not a actual hole, but a emotional hole. It sucked up any happiness the person may have had. Their pale, ghostly hand rubbing there face as the figure slid down the wall, into the moonlights path. Skinny, starved from hunger, and no will to live sat a girl named Lillian. Her long, knee length hair cascaded like a water fall and fell around her, the beautiful, soiled color of midnight dirtied by the soot, and ashes of the abandoned building. She wore a checkered wrist bands, that adored her lovely pale wrist to hide the blossoming bruises she had gotten, fighting for her freedom. Cuts were everywhere on the girl, along with bruises, which were unseen by the lack of light. Her shirt was ripped, but thankfully decently intact, skinny jeans ripped and torn to the point she could feel the chill of the cold night air making its way into her pants, and onto her senstive, beaten skin. Her converse luckly served no such damage.
They were black, and a little dirty from kicking up the ash below. Shifting, and getting comfortable, she laid her head onto the brick wall behind her. Bags, under her dull eyes proved she was tired, worn, and had no energy to go on. She had nothing out there for her, no future. What was there for her? Not her mother. Not her father. She had no more friends, family, all driven away when her crazy parents had made a horrible fuss and beaten her right in front of them, then threatened there lives if they ever told. Just because she hadn't made dinner. What parents were they?
The thing was, they weren't. Not anymore.
She chuckled hollowly, tears springing to her eyes. Melancholy and harmful thoughts bubbling for the first time into her brain, and her heart burned like acid. She gave a bitter smile. Dying here didn't sound so bad, being she felt so alone. What difference would it REALLY have made if she was with someone? They couldnt help. Maybe this too good for her,to depart now. She didnt have her knifes with her, or her belt that held her studs with them inside. Stomach growling, icy-hot tears streamed down her face. Oh god, she was in a predicament. Even if she survived she had no where to go. This was now her lonely home. These ruins. The corpse of this once, tall, proudly standing building, who reminded her of herself. Leaning over, she buried her face in her hands and sobbed,as hard as she could, she wailed, in her emotional pain. Nothing to off herself, she wouldnt even know how. Through all the pain she had been in, she had never needed to cut. Only to protect herself. To live.
To SURVIVE. She wasn't doing so good at it now. Suicidal thoughts. She was pathetic, stupid. She continued to sob, she was so worthless. Her heart shattered, she was in one of the rare moments, where she remembered something good about her mother, leaving her now aching to be in the woman's, who use to be so loving all those years ago, in her warm, loving arms. Suddenly fatigue finally took over her limbs, making her eyes flutter close as she blacked out. Trembling, from the chill as she began to fall to her side. What was wrong with her? Don't pass out now!! her mind screamed, commanding her to catch herself, which the poor girl had no more energy to do. She could feel herself slipping, into unconsciousness. Sleep. She needed sleep.. Faintly, as she was on the edge, before falling into the black hole of comforting darkness, she felt strong, warm arms wrap around her freezing body. Smiling, at what she thought was a small, lonely illusion, she let herself fall into a dreamless haven. Only there, in the darkness of her mind, was she safe from the real world. To bad she would have to wake up soon. Pushing it aside, she let her mind fade into bleak darkness.
